Whiskey Flat Days in Kernville is a lively annual celebration honoring our town’s Wild West history. Join us for Presidents' Day Weekend, February 12th-15th, 2027!

Each year, the community steps back in time with old-west reenactments, lively gunfights, an incredible parade, and a bustling vendor market filled with handmade crafts and delicious food.

The weekend also features a family-friendly carnival, live entertainment, and the Wild West Daze rodeo at the McNally Rodeo Arena. It’s a vibrant mix of history, adventure, and small-town charm—perfect for visitors of all ages!

Does it cost anything to attend?

Walking around downtown Kernville and enjoying the street entertainment is free! However, specific attractions like the Carnival, Rodeo, and vendor purchases require tickets or cash.

Is it family friendly?

Absolutely! Whiskey Flat Days is perfect for all ages. Kids will especially love the dedicated Kid Zone, the family-friendly carnival rides, and watching the parade.

Where is the festival located?

The celebration takes over all of downtown Kernville! The vendor market, gunfights, and carnival are centrally located, while the Rodeo is held at the McNally Rodeo Arena.

What should I bring?

Bring comfortable walking shoes, a warm jacket for the chilly February weather, and cash or card for the vendor market, food stalls, and carnival games.

Can I bring my dog?

Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome in most outdoor downtown areas. However, for the safety of the rodeo animals and large crowds, please check specific rules for the arena and carnival areas.
