Whether you’re opening a new business, relocating, expanding, or celebrating an anniversary, our ribbon cuttings are designed to spotlight your success and connect you with the community.

What's Included

  • Scheduling Guidance: The best times are Tuesday through Thursday, 10 AM – 4 PM. This ensures Chamber representatives, local officials, and community members can attend. We’ll work with your schedule if another time works best.

  • No Cost to You: Ribbon cuttings are complimentary for all new businesses. It’s our way of welcoming you into the Kernville business community and showcasing your brand.

  • City & Community Coordination: If your business is within Kernville city limits, we’ll notify city officials and extend invitations to local leaders, first responders, and community partners.

  • Ceremonial Supplies: We’ll bring the oversized scissors and ribbon — you bring the excitement!

  • Promotion & Coverage: Your event will be promoted through the Chamber’s social media, email list, and community calendar. We’ll also capture photos and/or video for post-event sharing.

How to Prepare

  • Decide who you’d like to invite — employees, family, community, media.

  • Choose the best backdrop (company sign, front entrance, logo wall).

  • Select who will cut the ribbon and stand beside you in the photos.

  • Prepare a short welcome message to highlight your business and thank supporters.

  • Optional: Offer refreshments, giveaways, or a tour of your space to make the event memorable.

What to Expect on Event Day

  • Welcome remarks from a Chamber representative

  • Greetings from city or community officials (if attending)

  • Group photo, countdown, and ribbon cutting!

  • Networking, refreshments, and celebration
