SCOVERN/McNALLY BARN

The relocation of the Scovern/McNally Barn will become the crown jewel of the John E. McNally Arena. This multi-purpose building will keep alive the rich history of the Kentucky Style barn originally built in 1929 on the Scovern Hot Springs ranch in Lake Isabella.

The facility will include a large deck with seating for 80-100 people, historic tack and saddle rooms and an upstairs lounge. The deck and lounge will have a great view looking out over the arena.

The Perfect backdrop for weddings, dinner parties and VIP seating, the Barn will be available for rent year around.

hometown hero Banner | Every November

Hometown Hero Banner Project for Veterans Day

Hometown Hero is to remember our local heroes (past residents) during the month of November.

The Kernville Chamber of Commerce would like to honor local Kern River Valley military men and women with the Hometown Hero banner. There are 36 available light pole locations throughout Kernville. The Hometown Hero banner will be displayed during the entire month of November.

The Banner will have a picture along with name and branch of service decal.

Veterans/service member shall meet the following criteria:

-Local/past resident in the following zip codes

93238, 93285, 93240, 93205, 93283, 93255

-Must have served in one of our Nation's branches of Military (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, and National Guard)

First year cost of a custom banner: $40

Annual Renewal: $20

Walk of Honor Banner Project for Memorial Day

Walk of Honor to remember our local fallen heroes (past residents) during the month of May.

The Kernville Chamber of Commerce would like to honor local Kern River Valley fallen military men and women with the Walk of Honor banner. There are 36 available light pole locations throughout Kernville. The Walk of Honor banner will be displayed during the entire month of May.

The Banner will have either a picture provided by a family member, or a yellow ribbon in place of picture along with name and branch of service decal.

Veterans shall meet the following criteria:

Local resident in the following zip codes

93238, 93285, 93240, 93205, 93283, 93255

Must have served in one of our Nation's branches of Military (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, and National Guard)

First year cost of a custom banner: $40
