Every Presidents’ Day Weekend, Kernville transforms back into its Gold Rush roots as “Whiskey Flat.” For four unforgettable days, the town celebrates with rodeo thrills, Wild West reenactments, live music, parades, carnival rides, craft booths, and plenty of food and fun for all ages.
From the famous Whiskerino contest to the Wild West Encampment and the always-spirited parade, Whiskey Flat Days is a tradition that brings together locals and visitors alike. It’s the perfect mix of history, community pride, and small-town adventure.
